Bong Lebowski: ten tracks mastered, built on the raga clock

Two EPs and a single are mastered and on the way. Raga Clock is one club night, Open Air is one festival day, and every raga sits in its traditional time of day.

Ten tracks are mastered. They ship in three records, in this order: the Raga Clock EP, the single Bihag, and the Open Air EP. No dates yet, order only.

The idea is the raga clock. In Hindustani practice each raga belongs to a time of day, so I used that as the running order. Raga Clock is one club night: Godhuli (Marwa, psytrance) at sunset, Tivra (Yaman, acid house × Goa), Kind of Bageshri (jazz × Goa trance, laid out like a chart), Andolan (Darbari Kanada, dark psytrance) at 2am, and Bhairav After Hours at the pre-dawn hour Bhairav belongs to. All five hold one Sa, D, like a tanpura tuned once for the night.

Bihag is the full-on single for the hours after dark. Open Air is the day after the night, sunrise to sundown: Bhor, Todi, Dopahar and Long Shadows, all on Sa = F#, about seven minutes each with 32-bar intros and outros for DJs. Between the three records every three-hour slot of the day has a track.

The genre is psytrance and Goa trance, with acid house and techno in the mix. The ragas are the notation underneath, the source of the notes. The tracks are on the music page, and st@ck_0verflw is still the one out now.
